I began making pottery as Pottery by Design, way back in 1999.

Over the years work evolved into Atop of the tier ceramic cake toppers specializing in wedding toppers.

Now I'm busy with my creations here at by Kate Elford. 

The main perk of the job is I spend my days talking to the dog and drinking tea!

I feel blessed to be able to do what I do. Illustrating is what I love, and it's not something I take for granted.

My mid life crisis was to become an international penguin artist, and here we are!
